Xerox Bolsters Small Business Presence

Xerox's $1.5 billion acquisition of Global Imaging Systems will help the stalwart copy machine manufacturer increase its presence among small and medium-sized businesses, according to a Tuesday report by Goldman Sachs.
"This acquisition is in line with Xerox (nyse: XRX - news - people )'s strategy to strengthen its presence in the small and medium sized market to complement its strong position in the mid and large enterprise market," said Jack Kelly, an analyst for Goldman Sachs.,,,
